Automation Engineer - B&R Automation
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience with B&R Automation
Responsibilities :
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with clients to understand project requirements or upgrades for existing machines
- Lead or contribute to the development of Special Purpose Machines
- Provide remote support for breakdowns as needed
- Troubleshoot and optimize different Special Purpose Machines
- Demonstrate flexibility to work across different time zones
- Willingness to travel abroad for a maximum of 5-7 weeks per year to support on-site projects
Skills :
- Expertise in Automation Studio software
- Hands-on experience with different B&R PLCs, Safety PLCs, HMIs, IOs etc.
- Proficient in ST and Ladder programming for B&R Automation systems
- Hands-on experience with B&R Servos, B&R VFDs/ ABB VFDs etc.
- Comprehensive understanding of Special Purpose Machines (SPMs)
- Familiarity with various communication protocols (Powerlink, Ethernet, Profibus, Modbus etc.)
- Effective team collaboration and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
