AVP - NPD & Engineering (12-21 yrs)

Requirements :
1. Material knowledge : Knowledge on raw material like castings, forgings, free cutting steel (bars), Alloy steels, Aluminium bars extrusion Stainless steel bars and stainless steel forgings.
2. Costing capabilities : Independently to workout the process cost for the given part by selecting the right process with right machines, fixtures, tools and gauges
3. Process knowledge : Experience on handling CNC turning centers, VMC, HMC, heat treatment, plating, grinding (cylindrical and centerless)
4. PPAP & FMEA documents : Knowledge on FMEA and PPAP documentations complete process as per standard given by customer.
5. Time line : Strict adherence to Proto, PPAP and mass production commitments as agreed with the customer.
6. Fixtures & Toolings : Knowledge to suggest the suitable and ro-bost fixtures and the tooling knowledge based on part requirement.
7. Communication Skills : To keep up the good rapo with the customers and internal team to execute the projects.
8. Make or buy decision : Should be capable to judge the parts can be done in-house if it is really value added or the process knowledge to share to develop the buy parts with sub-suppliers

10) Tools & Fixtures - "Knowledge on machining all types of material with combination tools
Knowledge on designing Robust fixture concept with multi part loading and to achieve the best cycle time."
11) Technology : Thorough knowledge on implementing appropriate technology for the parts as per customer requirement.
12) Cost Reduction on tooling, manpower and indirect material cost.
13) SPMs - Able to develop Special purpose machines with low cost to meet the customer demand.
14) To have a knowledge on Kaizen TPM SPC FMEA & PFMEA JIT Poke yoka SMED concepts.
15) Material handing - Should have the thorough knowledge on material handing between the cells and over all material flow.
