AVP/VP - Research & Development - Polymer/Organic Synthesis (20-25 yrs)
Job Description :
- Plan, Direct and execute various Research initiatives.
- Evaluate current processes/systems/structure and make appropriate changes for improved efficiency.
- Improve competitive advantage of the organisation through R&D Projects.
- Drive Improvement projects, Initiatives and Policies for R&D Centre.
- Improve DKC branding by collaborating with Customers, Authorities, Vendor and external R&D Forums.
- Overall responsibility for Synthesis, Analytical, Process Scale up.
- Own responsibility for R&D Budget and financials.
- Identify & capture key concerns through stakeholder meetings & develop improvement programs.
- Effectively manage Tech support function and ensure quick response to Customer needs.
- Represent R&D in Global meetings, reviews and conferences.
- Complete responsibility of a R&D Centre.
Work Experience & Exposure :
- 20+ years of strong experience
- Polymer/Organic Synthesis
- Holding Commercial or Semi Commercial Patents
- Chemistry and process Scale up
- Must be in Leadership position for 5+ years
- Proven Commercialisation track record.
