Axiscades - Electrical Component Design Engineer (3-5 yrs)
Required Experience :
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in power electronics design or simulation : Inverter/converter design
- Responsible for the detailed design and component selection for inverter/converter power stages
- Design and development of gate drive PCB- s, interface PCB's.
- Simulation of power electronics using industry standard simulation tools
- Translate requirements into detailed design documents
- Work closely with technical program lead to deliver to client commitments.
- Participate in development of FMEAs, DVP&R and execution of validation plan
- Participate in peer reviews and design reviews
- Oversee production releasing of detailed design
- Collaborate closely with industry leading component suppliers to ensure Time, Cost & Quality objectives are clear and aligned.
- Leverage global team to ensure design and analysis is timely
- Assist in prototype and production problem solving
- Participate in failure analysis activities
Additional expertise :
- Characterization, testing and modelling of key power electronics components and subassemblies including IGBT- s, gate drive boards, capacitor, power stage, etc.
- Understanding of thermal and electrical simulation, specific experience with Ansys thermal simulation or electrical simulation tools a plus
- Experience with design specification documentation and drawings
- Knowledge and experience in component manufacturing processes, Basic knowledge with other electric drivetrain components such as motors, generators, energy storage.
- Knowledge of drivetrain systems for a range of architectures (hybrid, BEV, etc.)
- Experience with automotive, construction, or heavy machinery drivetrains
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Candidate Requirement :
- Must have Hands on experience on CAD tool (Creo)
- Knowledge on Manufacturing processes
- Must have good communication and presentation skills to interact with onsite customer engineers
- Proactive and highly energetic in executing the tasks efficiently with in timelines by resolving the issues
- Should be able to join soon (immediate / preferably in one month)
