Axiscades - Electromechanical Component Design Engineer - New Product Development (9-15 yrs)
Required Experience :
- Bachelors/Master's degree with 9-15 years of experience in heavy equipment electro hydraulic systems & components design
- Experience in earth moving or mining equipment is must.
- Creo & Creo Simulate, Strong analytical skills, Matlab, CFD
- Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks
- Experience in Design & Development of the Hydraulic Components for the Earth moving, Mining and Construction machineries & equipment's. Preferably in Hydraulic Cylinder or Valve designs.
- Strong analytical skills & experience in designing the components to meet the machine system performance requirements and cost targets.
- Knowledge about Virtual Validation, Materials, Manufacturing, Castings, Forgings, Bolted Joints, Welded Joints, Reliability & Warranty, Tolerance Stack-up and GD&T.
- Experience in static & reciprocating seals, Valve stem design, Slot programming, Cartridge valves, Manifolds & Spring designs.
- Define and execute the Virtual, On machine validation plan through DFMEA, DVP&R.
- Through knowledge in Component Sizing, Selection and Performance study.
- Knowledge about machine hydraulics and integration.
- Able to Conduct Concept and Detailed Design Reviews with the Engineering teams for NPI, NTI programs.
- Resolve field warranty related issues.
- Conduct competitive assessments at Component level & System level.
- Collaborate with the Global/Regional purchasing and manufacturing facility teams to support the product quality & cost targets, supplier process audit, sourcing, PPAP/APQP process validation.
- Address field failures, Warranty claims, factory issues, Cost reduction project requires component evaluation / redesign.
- Experience in Project management, hands on Creo and any Virtual validation experiences.
- Responsible for Releasing and maintenance and manage the Bill of material.
- Preferred virtual validation engineering experience (Matlab, CFD, Creo Simulate).
