Position: Manager/ Asst Manager-EXIM Experience: 4-10 years

Location: Mumbai (Bandra)

Job description:

- Will be responsible for handling documentation, Liasoning with the supplier overseas, Liasoning with the domestic agents such as Shipping Co- s, CHA- s, & Inspection Agencies Etc.

- Letter of Credits (LC)-Scrutiny & Inward & Outward Forex Remittance Procedures.

- Will look after Export sales activities, quotations, collections, sourcing of new customer & markets, Price negotiations etc

- Responsible for handling of Complete Import, Export & Merchanting Trade operations.

- Preparation of Pre & Post Export Documents

- Submission of Documents like Certificate of Analysis, Manufacturing Licence etc.

- Smooth Co - ordination with overseas Clients for outstanding payments.

- Verification of Post - Shipment Documents.

- Preparation of High Seas Sale Documents under Imports.

- Requesting the Clients for the amendments required in the Letter of Credits.

- Handling & Settling the payments received under Letter of Credits after deducting the Discrepancy Fee & Inter Bank charges.

- Appointment of Inspection Agencies for Pre - Shipment Inspection

- Hedging, Booking & Cancellation of Forward Contracts against Exports & Imports.

- Clearance of N - Form from Octroi Dept.

- Submission of Proof of Export Documents to Excise Department.

- Filing of Documents for Export House Status.

- Negotiation of Freight Rates.

- Negotiation of Freight Rates with Transporters.

- Application with the banks for releasing Pre - Shipment Finance (Packing Credit in Foreign Currency i.e. PCFC).

- Adjustments of Pre - Shipment Finance against realization of Export Proceeds
