Battery Design Engineer - EV (3-5 yrs)
Battery Design Engineer EV
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creating parts, assembly, concept:
- Designing modern electric powertrain element
- Analysing the vehicle environment to built in a battery pack
- In charge of the geometric integration of Thermal components as cooling plates, piping, heat exchanger, Venting Systems and Battery Modules, supported by the Simulation skill team
- Designing battery cooling system from concept to detailed models
- Designing welded structures (castings, extruded profile structures, laminated structures)
- Design of low and high voltage system elements - mechanical engineering side
- Responsible for the design and development of these parts under constrains of manufacturability, assembly, and costs in close cooperation with E/E, simulation and production engineering skill teams
- Interaction with supplier for manufacturing feasibility
- Contribution to preparing technical component specifications and drawings for these battery components
Communication as a member of an international team:
- Continuous cooperation with the analysis and test engineers
- Communication with the customers and with the suppliers
YOUR PROFILE:
- B. Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Vehicle Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering
- At least 3-5 years of design experience
- Strong user skills in CATIA V5, Creo/ProE, NX
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Analytical thinking and teamwork skills
- Very good command of English
- Readiness to travel
