Battery Smart - Inventory Associate (4-8 yrs)
Inventory Management:
- Perform regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Record and update inventory data in the system.
- Identify discrepancies and investigate variances between physical counts and inventory records.
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
Receiving and Stocking:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of items received against purchase orders.
- Label and stock items in appropriate locations within the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain inventory areas to ensure items are easily accessible and properly stored.
Data Entry and Reporting:
- Input inventory data into warehouse management systems (WMS) accurately.
- Generate and review inventory reports to monitor stock levels and trends.
- Communicate with other departments regarding inventory status and needs.
