ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. 1. To decide type / quality of instruments, deal with suppliers for specifications etc.

2. Resource allocation for preventive and breakdown tasks

3. Develop, train and provide learning platform to the PCT technicians

4. To keep high morale among work force to take up additional jobs, to maintain all plants instruments, & trouble shooting

5. Inventory control by periodically analyzing the store stock level

6. Up-gradation of plant & process safety by reviewing the plant HAZOP

7. Regular interaction with vendor, instruments manufacturer for updating the instrumentation standard

8. Ensuring all activities done as per schedule & Within specific budget

9. Preparing budget for concerned activities and Coordinating with internal and external agencies for support in expediting Project work DCS, Drives, SCADA

10. Have zero / minimum down time for equipment's from instrumentation

11. Calibration & testing of all critical, indicating, non-indicating

12. To comply the liasoning activities (projects/maintenance) for Stamping & verification of all weighing system by weights & measurement authority of Gujarat.

13. To ensure the background (Sequence of logic, Safety interlocks location, wiring detail, cause & matrix as per HAZOP etc.), Sizing, selection, Procurement, installation & commissioning of complete instrumentation ( including HAZOP points), to execute instrumentation in project activities in scheduled time frame & allocated budget.

WHO YOU ARE:

1. B.E. (Instrumentation & control) with 6- 7 years of experience in project and Maintenance of chemical industry. More preference given to Agrochemical & Pesticide industries. Knowledge of computer, Preventive maintenance, SAP, ISO, Safety, Manpower handling etc.

2. Strong knowledge in Project ( E,P,C) and calibration and testing of all critical & non critical instruments and guiding the team on the same He should be well conversant with trouble shooting, fault finding, Preventive / breakdown maintenance and condition monitoring techniques.
