1. Overall Project Responsibility :

- Take responsibility for the project from the day of receiving the Work Order (WO).

2. Project Requirement Understanding :

- Understand project requirements and prepare a list of materials in coordination with the Purchase Department.

3. Project Execution Planning :

- Develop a project execution plan in required phases, aligning with customer timelines.

4. Drawing Approval and Inspection :

- Obtain approved drawings from railways/vendors.

- Raise inspection calls as necessary.

5. Material Delivery Planning :

- Plan material delivery, considering business requirements.

6. Timely Updates of Project Activities :

- Ensure the timely updating of project-related activities in coordination with all concerned project groups.

7. Team Leadership :

- Lead the Site and Purchase teams.

- Be responsible for the proper functioning of the Site Team.

8. Collaboration with the Managing Director and Indian Railways :

- Work closely with the Managing Director and Indian Railways (Electricity Dept.) for project delivery.

- Focus on delivering projects as per agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.

9. Technical Assistance :

- Provide technical assistance to the Site team and solve problems as required.

10. Project Plan Development and Liaison for Approvals :

- Develop project plans.

- Liaise for required government/statutory approvals and permits as per approved drawings.

11. Resource Allocation :

- Assign appropriate resources to projects.

- Supervise the work schedule to facilitate timely project completion.

12. Progress Monitoring and MIS :

- Monitor progress against the project schedule.

- Maintain a Management Information System (MIS) for daily project updates.

- Manage all project-related documents in particular files and folders.

13. Coordination with Purchase Team :

- Coordinate with the Purchase team for the finalization of vendors within agreed timelines.

14. Monitoring and Evaluating Performance :

- Oversee the coordination process for monitoring and evaluating the performance of petty contractors and other outside vendors.

15. Project Updates to Management :

- Ensure regular project updates to the Managing Director on a weekly and monthly basis.

- Based on a thorough checking of the work carried out on site, he will forward the payment request or pending payment on the base of the calculation provided by the project team. (Follow up for Project billing & Payment, providing updates to the Account department for Billing of
