Billing Engineer (2-8 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end billing for all projects.
- Verify quantities claimed in site bills and ensure accuracy before processing.
- Reconcile BOQ vs actual certified quantities during final billing.
- Verify labour expenses and ensure approvals.
- Conduct monthly physical stock verification as per management requirements.
- Book contractor invoices in SAP after verification of taxation, debit notes, and compliance parameters.
- Coordinate joint measurements with contractor and site engineers when required.
- Segregate invoices based on approving authority and manage approval workflow (ISBL/OSBL).
- Maintain records of invoices, debit notes, scanned copies, and document tracking.
- Scrutinize departmental labour bills and coordinate with accounts for timely payments.
- Reconcile contractor invoices vs booked invoices and explain ledger details to contractors.
- Follow up on contractor payments, cheque collection, distribution, and issue resolution.
- Perform stock verification for main godowns, jobber godowns, and site stores.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GST and taxation.
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
- Cost control understanding.
- Experience in SAP billing preferred.
- B.Tech background is an added advantage.
