BIM Designer - Highway Engineering (2-8 yrs)
- Must be from a Civil / Highway Engineering background with preferable Highways domain experience.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with sufficient and relevant experience.
- Experience of Highways alignment and corridor detailing, reinforcement detailing, structural steel detailing and schedules.
- Must be an advanced user or expert user in Autodesk Civil3D, with a minimum of 2 to 8 years - core Civil3D experience which includes handling Bentley MX data in Civil3D.
- Hands-on experience of industry standard Highways BIM Platforms such as Autodesk Infraworks is desirable.
- Civil3D experience must include detailed understanding of the Civil3D user interface and all its features to perform Civil3D corridor modelling for complex junctions and interchanges.
- Must be able to create, manage and manipulate bespoke Civil3D styles to derive various alignment and corridor information, annotation and reporting.
- Must able to derive and extract drawing deliverables, schedules, quantity take off and analysis results.
- Must be an advanced user or expert user in Autodesk Navisworks with capabilities to federate individual discipline BIM Models.
- Setup, maintain and run clash rules and clashtests across federated BIM Models.
- Must know how to create search sets, query, find and navigate through BIM Models.
- Must be well versed in best practices for use of Autodesk Civil3D, Infraworks and Navisworks and other industry standard BIM platforms.
