Description

NPI engineers are responsible for designing and developing new products. They work with a variety of different materials and components, and they use their expertise in engineering principles to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of their company's customers. NPI engineer will be responsible to setup complete assembly line for new products and handover to production team.

Brief synopsis of your role and responsibility :

- Responsible to define all requirements to setup a new assembly line. Including but not limited to Equipment, Jigs and Fixtures, Raw materials, Consumables.

- To Define and communicate requirements to Product management, purchase, planning, warehouse teams.

- Responsible to define testing plan and SOP and review with Product team, and vendors

- Responsible to Keep tracking of all testing results

- Effective communication with vendors to report issues, and conclude on final solutions through QRCI, RCA approach

- Pilot production monitoring and providing ECN for any changes.

- Compare the changes of current & previous value of testers & check the testing schemes of tester through MTP.

- Prepare the negative sample for machine tester validation.

- Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning activities, Process Changes and Quality improvement plans.

- Monitor rejections / reworks / continual improvement in all processes.

- Responsible for improvement in line process rejection and quality checkpoints.

Candidate Profile :

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical engineering is required.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Problem solving based on QRCI & root cause analysis

- Understanding of 5S, 4M Method
