CAD Designer - Jewelry Sector (3-9 yrs)
Job Responsibilities:
- Convert 2D designs, reference images, and written information into 3D CAD models.
- Collaborate with the CAD team to create accurate CAD models as per customer requirements, considering design aesthetics and feasibility.
- Create and maintain a library of standard design parts.
- Optimize designs for production processes.
- Provide guidance to other CAD designers and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Offer inputs regarding the feasibility of designs.
- Maintain daily work logs/records and report to the CAD manager.
- Complete and maintain technical sheet formats for all projects.
Key Requirements:
- Total work experience in CAD: 3-6 years.
- Proficiency in Rhino and Matrix (preferably the latest version).
- Minimum 2-4 years of work experience in the international/export market, especially in the European and US jewelry sectors.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Excellent design understanding and the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Adaptability to market changes and a willingness to learn new techniques.
- Ability to handle work pressure and deliver high-quality results.
- Openness to design developments and frequent changes to meet customer needs.
- Good interpersonal skills to foster team collaboration.
