- We are looking for a passionate CAD Drafter to join our team. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the key responsibility for this position will be to prepare engineering 3D model and 2D drawing packages using proper GD&T standards and practices with SolidWorks.

Position Responsibilities :

- Operate a CAD workstation to create and update part drawings and models to include all specifications, tolerances, materials, finishes and notes required for manufacturing

- Update and maintain Bill of Materials, 3D Models and 2D Drawings library

- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blue prints

- Check and verify that all assembly and part models are meeting our engineering standards

- Complete documentation packages and produce manufacturing packages

Qualifications :

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Minimum of 3-5 years- experience in CAD Drafting

- Effective use of SolidWorks to create 2D drawings and 3D models

- Ability to read, interpret and prepare GD&T for assembly drawings and part creation

- Mechanical aptitude and general understanding in sheet metal fabrication processes would be an asset

- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

- Excellent attention to details and organization skills
