Calibration Engineer - Battery Electric Vehicle (1-3 yrs)
Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle level calibration and evaluation of EV system
- Plan & Execute long term calibration of EV
- Preparation of DoE, execution, analysis, and reporting
- Perform root-cause analysis of the issues encountered
- Implement countermeasures during development
- Working with stakeholders within the organization and outside (suppliers, consultants) for above development
Skills Required:
- Exposure to Drivability calibration, Range estimation calibration, Elec. Energy & Thermal Management.
- Good knowledge of EV systems & Powertrain engineering
- Good knowledge of high-level performance requirements of vehicles
- Prior experience in vehicle calibration tools such as INCA, Vector or equivalent is required
- Understanding of CAN, XCP, CCP, LIN protocols
- Experience in vehicle testing on chassis dyno, on road and on test track
- Exposure to appropriate Regulations and Standards of EV such as AIS 038, AIS 039, AIS 040, AIS 102, AIS 048, AIS 137 etc.
