California Burrito - Supply Chain Head - Material Management (4-10 yrs)
ABOUT THE POSITION : Our company is growing rapidly and we are looking for an entrepreneurial supply chain professional with strong core experience in food/FMCG supply to lead our supply chain team. Direct reports will include 2 supply chain executives and a warehouse manager

ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES - MATERIAL MANAGEMENT :
- Develop and track key business metrics to streamline material delivery
- Metrics rigorously tracked:
- Transfer of stocks between stores
- Stock outs
- Vendor fill rate %
- Stock-holding days at outlet and company PO accuracy
- Deliveries at store within time-windows
- Ensure POs for consumable and assets are places through our ERP Supervise warehouse and production unit
- Enforce 100% compliance with existing SOPs
- Develop new SOPs as required
ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES - PRODUCT INNOVATION :
- Develop new/existing vendors to deliver best-in-class quality
- Manage projects related to innovation as directed by the CEO
- Conduct tasting sessions to collect ratings on new products
- Assist project team with new project/asset related supply
ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES - COST REDUCTION :
- Manage vendor contracts and ensure best-in-industry pricing
- Lead negotiations with vendors
- Advise accounts team from time to time about gaps in processes

California Burrito is a Mexican fast-casual restaurant chain with 35 locations across Bangalore, Dehli and Hyderabad. The company was started in 2012 by 3 Americans and will reach 100 stores in the next 3 years. Former Domino's CEO Ajay Kaul is a key advisor to the company and visit monthly for meetings. The company currently does 3.75 Crore monthly turnover and has been cash-flow positive for the past 3 fiscal years.
