In Casting, Hot Metal, Lancing, Blast furnace.
Minimum 10th Class pass + ITI (only NCVT)
Job Description :
- Hot Metal and Slag handling at BF cast house
- Hot metal and slag runner maintenance
- Knowledge and skill of cast house operations like erection and maintenance of slag dam and metal dam. Separation of slag/metal in hot runner
- Runner Jam Cleaning, Ramming, Heating and Runner preparation for Hot Metal handling.
- Lancing ( Tap hole, Tuyere and jam cutting) and handling of cold metal
- Knowledge of emergency situation for slag/ metals handling
- Knowledge of yield and surface quality of Pig
- Positive attitude to work hard at heat and dusty environment like BF cast house
- Safety awareness
