Casting Process Engineer - Auto Component Manufacturing Firm (8-10 yrs)
Hiring for Leading Auto Component Manufacturing Company
Responsibility:
- Lead development of process flows, process sheets, PFMEA, DFMEAs, tool lists and control plans
- Interface with suppliers of Die spares, tools to establish engineering requirements for start of production
- Drive strategy, generate, implement countermeasure for rejection reduction in coordination with CFT, die supplier.
- Should have knowledge of GDC, LPDC, Core making process(preferably hotbox)
- Responsible for manufacturing feasibility study, process selection for GDC/LPDC parts from customer drawings.
- Should have experience in preparation of equipment specification, supplier selection, evaluation of supplier, install & commissioning of equipment
Required Skills:
- Experience in a GDC/LPDC aluminum foundry.
- Knowledge of GDC / LPDC process with Cold box coring process
- Knowledge of GDC/LPDC equipments & Post casting equipments
- Knowledge of Heat treatment equipments
- Knowledge of auto component manufacturing industry
- With preferably knowledge of Excel/ Power point
- Knowledge of Die design(NX, Catia) and simulation softwares (Magma. Any casting or any other simulation software)
