Chemical Engineer (BOPP)

- Optimizing the production process, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safety and environmental compliance. Design and improve processes, troubleshoot issues, and work to improve efficiency and reduce costs in BOPP film production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and optimize the various chemical processes involved in BOPP film production, such as extrusion, stretching, and coating.

- Ensure the quality of the BOPP film meets specified standards by monitoring various parameters, conducting tests, and implementing quality control procedures.

- Identify and resolve issues in the production process, including equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and quality defects.

- Analyse production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.

- Ensure that all processes comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.

- Design, selection, and maintenance of equipment used in BOPP film production.

- Work with other engineers, technicians, and production personnel to achieve production goals.

- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

- Analyse production costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising quality or safety.

Qualification And Experience:

1. BE Chemical with 4-8 years of experience in BoPP Manufacturing and strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, particularly those related to polymer processing and materials science.

2. Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen, MATLAB) is often required.

3. Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance standards.

4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

5. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
