Chemical Engineer - Paper Manufacturing (10-15 yrs)

Required Experience, Skills & Abilities

Minimum 10 years demonstrated experience in paper manufacturing industries specializing in

i) Writing, Printing and Copy Paper

ii) Board & Coated Paper

iii) Tissue & Cigarette paper.

Sound knowledge of paper making of various grades and machine operation

Extensive knowledge of modern technology, machines and devices of paper industry

Ability to work in a team with a strong focus on results

Good Communication skills in English both oral and written

Strong analytical skills

Education

Graduate / Masters in Paper Processing Technology/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree.

Age: 30-50 years.

Essential Functions

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

Managing all affairs of production, QA programs of Plant/ Division

To set production goals and strategies in association with Production In-charge/ QC & QA In-charge to optimize production, reduce cost and improve quality and achieve targets

Establish policies and procedures to ensure the safe & continuous operation of the processes

Design, develop and control of process and methods of production, quality etc

Develop the best way to combine raw materials, chemicals and additives for a particular product

Adopt latest production technology for best quality paper

Check that finished products meet industry Quality, Safety and Environment standards

Other tasks as required at this position

Compensation Packages

- Salary: Negotiable.

- Leave facility: 30 days annual leave and 14 days sick leave (Full pay).
