Position Title: Chemist (QC & QA)

Required Experience, Skills & Abilities

Minimum 10 years demonstrated experience in paper manufacturing industry specializing in i) Writing, Printing and Copy Paper. ii) Board & Coated Paper. iii) Tissue & Cigarette paper.

Sound knowledge of testing of raw materials used in paper making of various grades.

Good knowledge of quality development and able to modify Recipe to maintain same and consistent quality standards.

Ability to work in a team with a strong focus on results.

Good Communication skills in English both oral and written.

Strong analytical skills.

Education

Graduate / Masters in Paper Processing Technology/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree.

Age: 35-50 years.

Essential Functions

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

Managing all affairs of QA programs of Plant/ Division

Sets production goals and strategies to optimize production, reduce cost and improve quality and achieve targets.

To develop new grades according to market demand

Design, develop and control of process and methods of production, quality etc

Develop the best way to combine raw materials, chemicals and additives for a particular product

Check that finished products meet industry Quality, Safety and Environment standards

Other tasks as required at this position
