Core tasks -

Technical management of the product development task area (primarily in monolithic formwork system)

- Implementation of innovative product concepts to series production, both globally and regionally.

- Implementation of innovative product concepts to series production, both globally and regionally

Task fields

Responsible for:

- Resource planning in accordance with project roadmap

- Ensuring and further developing efficient processes and workflows

- Safeguarding the quality, costs and delivery time throughout the customised product life cycle management process

- Interdisciplinary collaboration (simultaneous engineering) with the Project Management, Product Management, Industrial Engineering, Purchasing, Quality Management and Logistics divisions as well as external partners and suppliers

- Implementation of technical and functional specifications into products which are ready for series production in compliance with all product-relevant laws, regulations and guidelines

- Provision of prototypes and technical support of field trials

- Creation of all production documents required from a design perspective (models, drawings, risk assessments etc.)

- Market and competition monitoring as regards technical developments

- Creation of ideas that merit protection

- Compliance with any regional | local laws, regulations, guidelines, etc.

- Approval of welding drawings for articles in series production

- Support in welding-related questions

- Technical functions in relation to CAD, welding technology

- Responsibility for the creation of prototypes and implementation of field trials

- Supervisor for field trials

- Prioritisation of work packages / tasks within their own team in coordination with the Management of Design Office India

- Evaluation of projects regarding technical and financial risks as well as in relation to risks in resources

- Management of interdisciplinary teams through the different project phases of product development, from design and planning to hand-over to series production and line management

- Development of standards required in the local Design Office

Professional requirements, methodological skills, soft skills

Successfully completed studies in the area of engineering, preferably mechanical engineering with several years of professional experience

- Management experience in a similar position and level of responsibility

- Several years of experience in the area of LEAN Development and in technical product development including knowledge of modern product development processes

- Excellent project management skills (ideally in an international context)

- Knowledge of the construction industry in the field of formwork and scaffolding

- Sound knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor

- Sound knowledge of ANSYS

- Strong analytical and conceptual skills

- Strong communication skills

- Structured and interdisciplinary approach to work

- High implementation expertise

- High level of engagement, initiative and sense of responsibility

- Strong team and customer focus

- Good knowledge of English

- Knowledge of German desirable

- Willingness to travel abroad
