CNC Bending Operator (2-8 yrs)
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC bending / press brake machines to bend sheet metal as per drawings & specifications.
- Set up tools, dies, punches & back gauges; perform trial runs and confirm accuracy.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints; adjust programs and bend angles accordingly.
- Inspect parts using measuring tools (calipers, vernier, protractor) and ensure quality standards.
- Perform basic maintenance and ensure machine health, safety, and 5S compliance.
- Maintain production records and report machine issues or deviations.
Skills Required
- Strong experience in CNC bending operations / sheet metal bending.
- Blueprint reading & precision measurement skills.
- Knowledge of material properties and bending parameters.
- Safety-conscious with good communication & problem-solving skills.
