Technical Skill Required - Multibeam Echo Sounder, Sub Bottom Profiler, DGPS,GPS,Side Scan Sonar,
Software Required- Hydropro, Hypack, Quincy
Job Responsibilities :
- Works as a Sr. Project Engineer or Party Chief for the project (if designated)
- Correctly assess, assemble and muster all equipment required for a project based on the scope of work of the particular project
- Check all equipment, independently and after system integration with all relevant interfacing with the requisite software to confirm data transmission, reception and logging
- Receive all equipment at site and install them onboard the relevant marine spread/ craft/ vessel and fully integrate it for survey/ site operations
- Assist in calibration and fine tuning of equipment
- Responsible for the front line maintenance and trouble shooting in case of any system malfunction onsite
- Packing and listing of (with assistance from Lab Staff) all project equipment safely and hand over to the logistics section for transportation to site/ office
- Responsible for handing over of the complete equipment set for standard checks and preventive maintenance routines by the base engineers and lab staff
- Unpacking (with assistance from Lab Staff), test, service and repair as required the returning electronic survey equipment from the site
- Ensure compliance of ISO and HSE standards and procedures related to the project
