Composite Engineer - Wind Turbine Blades (7-12 yrs)
Job Description :
- You are an experienced manager with a technical background.
- Knowledge of wind turbine blades will be an added advantage.
- You have a Masters or PhD degree in mechanical engineering or aeronautical engineering with 10+ years of total professional experience of which minimum of 5+ years in development of composite structures in Wind or Aerospace industry.
- You are familiar with commercial FE software (Preferably Ansys APDL) and good understanding of composite materials
- You are familiar with programming and automation preferably in Matlab
- You have strong understanding of composite structures used in load carrying like Blades.
- You have working experience in a technical engineering organization doing product development/product and support, preferably within wind energy or aerospace
- You are familiar with working in large matrix organizations and able to handle many tasks and interfaces simultaneously
- You have a successful track record with people management and leadership
- You have proven track record of project management
- You have living and/or working experience in an intercultural environment and ready to travel
- You are structured and organized and able to handle change management
- You are outgoing, determined and persistent with strong communication and collaboration skills
- You are motivated by making things happen and at the same time shaping the strategy and direction of the future
