Construction Engineer (15-22 yrs)
We're currently hiring for Construction Engineer for a leading conglomerate, based in Chennai.
Job Location: Karaikkal, Pondicherry
Minimum 15 years of experience in Construction Engineering
Job Profile:
- Oversees the planning, design, and construction of building and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. This role involves project management, cost estimation, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinating with various teams (architects, contractors, etc.) and managing resources to ensure smooth project execution.
Design and Technical Oversight:
- Contributing technical expertise to project drawings and designs. Ensuring designs are feasible, safe, and compliant with regulations.
Cost Estimation and Control:
- Calculating project costs, preparing budgets, and identifying potential cost-saving measures.
- Site Supervision and Inspection:
- Conducting site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring work is done according to plans and specifications, and maintaining safety standards.
Quality Assurance:
- Implementing quality control measures to ensure construction work meets project requirements and specifications
Problem Solving:
- Addressing any technical issues or challenges that arise during the construction process and finding appropriate solutions.
