Construction Piping Engineer (8-20 yrs)
Note : The position is for 1 year Contract only
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8-10 years Piping construction experience in Major Oil & Gas / Mining projects, Capable to meet tight construction schedule and able to meet Quality & Safety standards.
- Experience and knowledge in Piping Construction as per ASME B31.3
- Must have good experience in handling Piping Fabrication, Welding and Erection of various piping materials, Internal & external coating systems, Insulation, Hot tapping, Tie-in, Shutdown in Piping, Exposure to various Welding process and PWHT & NDE.
- Should have knowledge in International Codes & Standards, Drawings & specifications.
- Experience in Structural/Pipe support fabrication, welding & Erection.
- Experience in developing construction plans & sequencing, scheduling, Strategies, Mechanical completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning.
- Preparation in piping execution plan & Method Statement, Experience Exposure to ISO 9001-2015.
- Understanding of 2D and 3D drawings.
- Study the drawings issued for construction in detail well in advance and identify if there is any mismatch between drawings and specifications/BOQ description/construction already carried out as well as any missing details and raise RFI to Project to get required details in time.
- Review the quality plan, Inspection & Test plan and work procedures and ensure is executing the work and meeting the approved plans and procedures.
- Participation in successful implementation of safety program as per contractual requirement.
- Maintain joint record/document for the deviations from the drawings, dismantling quantities etc.
- The candidate shall be able to work on technical details, have versatile static /piping engineering knowledge in Oil& gas field and thermal/steam/Mining Industry.
- Familiarity with latest design methods and techniques e.g. QRA, Hazid, HAZOP, PDMS 3D model reviews, Design reviews, etc
- Must be fluent in English, Good in PM Tools & computer knowledge, Reporting & documentation and leadership & decision-making skills.
