- Education: Degree in Civil or Mechanical or Elect Engineering

- Experience: 15-20 years of Site Management in Construction of Power Plants, Refinery, Oil and Gas, LNG, Process Industry.

Job location: Base office: Mumbai, Chennai or Noida.

Deputation for work locations: Middle east, Africa, Asia.

- Nationality: Indian.

Construction Manager - Site Manager

The Role:

- To participate in planning of the project site execution.

- To plan, lead and manage all activities related to the site, necessary for mobilization, installations, site assembly, tests, commissioning, handing over and demobilization within set time schedule, site budget and the quality and safety requirements of the project.

Duties and Responsibilities: General

- To find out right implementation strategy.

- To participate in all site related meetings.

- To prepare detailed site execution time schedules in co-operation with the subcontractors.

- To prepare and follow the site cash flow plan.

- To participate in subcontracting and local purchases.

- To check material shipments and transportation.

- To create site organization and site resource plan.

- To perform reporting and cost accounting according to the project accounting plan.

- To assure quality control, safety at site and personnel security.

- To make site logistics and storage plan.

- To highlight the economical constructing and cost saving working procedures.

- To create and maintain good human relations at site.

Mobilization, Installations

- To establish and maintain working procedures and documentation for coordination among the customer, consultants, contractors, authorities and local network office.

- To assure that all necessary site organization, work related and legal procedures and arrangements are established.

- To assure that all parties involved and responsible persons are aware of the contractual obligations when executing installations.

- To assure HSE compliance. Ensure all supervisors, and subcontractors are informed about health, safety and environmental requirements, precautions and procedures, make sure that HSE instructions are followed.

Reporting

- To prepare the Monthly Site Report, based on existing reporting practice.

- To prepare the Final Site Report.

Testing, Commissioning

- To plan, lead and manage inspections, tests and all related documents. Assemble, testing, commissioning and handing over procedures within set time schedule and that all documents meet requirements of the contract and company's standard practice.

- To ensure that the Provisional Handing over Certificate is issued in the end of site execution and to confirm that the warranty time has started before commercial use of the power plant.

Demobilization

- To ensure that all contractual responsibilities are fulfilled by the subcontractors, company and customer.

- To coordinate demobilization activities and assure completion according to company instruction.

- To ensure the site has been cleared of from construction and packing materials and all possible open matters are agreed and documented.

Working Conditions:

- The Construction/Site Manager is a member of the Project Management Team, he is responsible for the project site activities.
