Position Reporting to Electrical Innovation Lead
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop BMS and power management projects scope of work, schedule, budget, and level of efforts (LOE) to projects requested by customers and stakeholders.
- Manage scope, schedule, finance and execution of BMS improvement projects in BDx data centers.
- Assist in procurement related activities including request for quotation/proposals, responding to request for information, review of vendors proposal and issuance of purchase orders.
- Support Controls projects related commissioning activities in the data centers.
- Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.
- Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.
- Develop data center vulnerability remediation playbooks for control system designs in conjunction with IT teams.
EXPERIENCE - Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent understanding of industry-standard electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers, as well as controls/monitoring systems.
- Experience of 12 + years in designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting or servicing HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems application specific controllers, Building Management System (BMS) Controls software and networks.
- Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces. Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements and navigate challenging situations.
- Project coordination experience with multiple teams or vendors to meet project requirements for data centers. TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet and/or MODBUS communication protocol experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
