Our client is having an 5 established Sugar Plants in AP/Karnataka & Maharashtra, The Role involves of Over all incharge for Electrical, Instrumentation & Cogen departments of all 5 Sugar Plants /Units .

Job Role : 

- You should have good experience in Planning, Scheduling, Erection, Commissioning, & Operation and Maintenance of Electrical Systems, Instrumentation systems & Co gen Power Plant of Sugar Complex, Planning, Scheduling and Budgeting of Operations & Maintenance activities of Electrical systems, Instrumentation systems and Cogen Power Plant.

- Planning, Scheduling and Budgeting of Erection & Commissioning activities of CAPEX nature in Electrical, Instrumentation and Cogen departments.

- Monitoring and controlling of the Erection & Commissioning activities of Electrical systems, Instrumentation systems and Cogen power plant.

- Anticipating risks, Identifying and troubleshooting of Electrical, Instrumentation and Cogen equipment.

- Monitoring and continuously pursuing to improve the efficiency parameters & benchmarking to the industry standards.

- Being the eyes and ears of management and reporting the performance of the plants.

- Reviewing the seasonal and Off-seasonal works and reporting the progress.

- Help the Unit teams in preparation of Capital & Operational Budgets and get approval for the same & control and monitoring its spending in right direction. 

- Cost Optimization in R&M and O&M activities, Driving Unit teams towards achieving of Budgeted & Approved KOPs, Extend all the Support required to Unit teams in terms of technical, financial, manpower etc.

-  Documentation works for bidding new projects, Organizing for Energy AUDITs & implementation of the findings to save energy, 

Succession Plan :

- Grooming people to take up higher jobs & responsibilities, Imparting trainings for accomplishing greater operational efficiency.

- Executing cost saving techniques / measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.

- Ensuring Statutory compliances related to Electrical systems, Instrumentation systems & Cogen Power Plant, & Liasoning with concerned authorities.

REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL COMPETITENCIES :

- Well versed with Statutory & Non-Statutory Compliances applicable to Electrical, Instrumentation & Cogen power plants, Succession Plan 

- Experience in Mentoring and developing people to next level

- Commercial bent of mind in areas of procurement, captive consumption of power, steam, Over Time reduction, Manpower Cost in new Hires .etc.

- Implementation of Process Improvement methods w.r.t. cost optimization and better control.

- Hands on experience in Erection and commissioning of Electrical, Instrumentation & Cogen Power plant equipment
