Cost Estimation Engineer - Mining Products (7-15 yrs)
We have immediate job opening for Cost Estimation Engineer for Chennai location
Job Description :
Experience : 7+ Years
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
Job Responsibility:
1) Digitalization/Optimisation of Estimation Process for all Products
2) Preparation of cost estimation for all products
3) Supporting estimation team to get acquainted all product estimate for all regions
4) Review of tender / proposal documents & estimate Cost in line with tender / proposal requirements for Firm Proposals.
5) Consistant and accurate Cost estimation
6) Maintaining cost data base from Global sourcing
7) Review of Vendor quotes to comply tender / proposal requirements.
8) Closely work with Sales, Proposal, Engineering, Purchase and Project teams to meet common intended objective to complete the task within stipulated time frame.
9) Travel to client place for commercial meetings with customer (as & when required).
10) Coordinate with global offices for firm proposals
Required skill set :
1) Basic Product knowledge of Mining products
2) The relevant experience in similar products with exposure to international working environment and handled international/domestic projects is preferred.
3) Knowledge of Taxes & Duties - Import & exports - Federal, State or Local taxes and other taxes & duties.
4) Knowledge of Incoterms.
5) Good knowledge of MS Excel.
6) Good Communication Skill and Attitude.
7) Co-ordination with Global & Domestic teams.
8) Independent, quality-minded and have a structured approach to tasks.
9) Team Work and Motivation.
10) Quality Focus and on time delivery
11) Ability to read engineering drawings and Bill of material / Part lists.
12) Knowledge of Atlas system shall be added advantage
