Cozy Farms - Cold Room Project Engineer (4-12 yrs)
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Cold Room Project Engineer who can take ownership of cold room design, drawings, and on-ground execution. This is a core execution role - not a desk job. You will work closely with vendors, site teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings for cold rooms, blast freezers, and storage areas
- Understand customer requirements and convert them into practical layouts and drawings
- Design equipment layouts, panel layouts, airflow paths, and utility placements
- Coordinate with vendors and fabricators using drawings as the single source of truth
- Support site execution teams with drawings, measurements, and clarifications
- Verify site dimensions and ensure drawings match on-ground conditions
- Assist the Project Manager in planning execution sequences and timelines
- Identify design or layout risks early and flag them before execution starts
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings
- Clear understanding of cold room layouts, insulation panels, refrigeration systems, and airflow basics
- Experience working on industrial or cold-chain projects is a strong plus
- Good understanding of site execution and practical construction constraints
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders without constant supervision
Profile We- re Looking For
- Background in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or Diploma equivalent
- 2- 5 years of experience in cold rooms, HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial projects
- Comfortable visiting sites and handling execution-related discussions
- Detail-oriented but execution-focused - drawings must work on site
