Custiv - Quality Engineer (4-7 yrs)
- Study of Customer QAP and ITP, and Preparation of Custiv's QAP and ITP for each Sub Contractor Category for each Project.
- Inspecting of Incoming materials (Steel RM, Electrodes, Fasteners, Packaging Items & Brought Out Items), consumables as per specification and project requirements.
- Study of Fabrication Drawings and Welding Symbols.
- Dimensional inspection of Fit up items.
- Inspection of Flange alignment and Valve Fittings.
- Inspection of Preheat and NDT Requirements for Piping parts.
- Monitoring Welding Quality as per client approved Inspection & Test plans.
- Inspection of Welding QC, Electrodes and Processes.
- Visual Inspection of Welding, Cleaning and Fabrication Completion.
- Maintaining the Fit up, Weld Visual, NDT reports and ensure PWHT charts.
- Final release inspection using visual painting inspection as well as dry film thickness inspection for painted items.
- Sound knowledge of all Quality related Documentation and Welding techniques like SMAW, GTAW and FCAW.
- Preparation of Hydro Test Punch Points and Physical Inspection of Hydro Testing
- Conducting Welder Qualification Test & Conducting Procedure Qualification record with WPS.
- Ensure all documentation to execute the work such as approved welding procedures,
- Quality Control Procedures, NDT Procedures, Codes and Standards are available at the workplace.
- Interpretation of Radiographic films and supervising the repair procedures if any.
- Working with NDT processes UT, DPT, RT, and MPT.
