The Position :

We are looking to place a Customer Demand and NPD Executive within the Logistics/Supply Chain Department, to act as the primary contact for factories with respect to NPD, Ingredients Regulatory Compliance, Customer Demand Planning and management of buffer stocks (stored at factories/3rd party warehouses). To coordinate with factories, Marketing team, Group regulatory team to check country compliances before NPDs are finalised.

Tasks & Responsibilities :

NPD & Ingredients Regulatory Compliance :

- Act as the key point of contact for factories, responsible for follow up and coordination between factory SCM/P&T teams and local marketing team/s in managing all aspects of the NPD process.

- Receive NPD brief from Marketing, collect and consolidate sales volume projections from Marketing & Sales Managers, and undertake preliminary operational & capacity evaluation with respective factory SCM teams.

- Based on NPD brief received from local marketing team/s, request respective factory team/s to secure new product information and share back the same with local marketing team to enable them to initiate a regulatory compliance check by Group Regulatory team.

Demand Planning & Management of Finished goods stocks :

- Improve forecasting process to achieve higher forecast accuracy to factories.

- Analyse customer's demand (Orders + Forecast) on a monthly basis, compare with allocated capacity and pro-actively highlight variations in demand and check for possible short term/long term solutions to address the same.

- Manage/Prioritize production of orders in factories based on the allocated capacity -after consulting all stakeholders.

- Monitor/Manage Inventories (Stocks of Finished goods) at factories as well as at 3rd party warehouses in line with agreed Inventory norms

- Coordinate with factory team/EMEA Sales & Marketing team & 3PL team in ensuring Inventory management in a way to efficiently utilise the resources without wastage.

- Responsible for measuring and publishing agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Responsible for monitoring / measuring and improving supply OTIF from factories to all customers.

Profile & Background :

- 5 + years experience in in Supply Chain (especially in Demand/project planning)

- Bachelor Degree in Business / Management studies

- FMCG experience

- Factory experience in foreign territories is an advantage

IT Skills : SAP, MS office, MS projects and other Key computer applications

- Strong functional competence

- Excellent Communication skills

- Good inter-personal skills

- Ability to persuade / influence the timeline

- Able to handle time pressure /stress

- Able to work in a multi-cultural environment

- Ability to manage multiple priorities
