As we expand our retail footprint, we aim to create immersive, design-forward store experiences that reflect our commitment to craftsmanship, creativity, and modern Indian aesthetics.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Retail Store Architect with a strong sense of design, detailing, and brand storytelling through space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing DailyObjects- retail stores - from initial layouts to final on-site delivery - ensuring that each space reflects the brand's identity and enhances customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Conceptualize and design retail store layouts and interior environments aligned with the brand's visual and experiential standards.
2) Develop 2D drawings, 3D renders, and detailed technical documentation for new stores, pop-ups, and retail kiosks.
3) Collaborate closely with the Retail Expansion, Visual Merchandising, and Operations teams to translate brand guidelines into physical spaces.
4) Evaluate potential retail locations, conduct site surveys, and prepare feasibility reports.
5) Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and external consultants to ensure timely and quality execution of store rollouts.
6) Review and approve material samples, fixtures, furniture, and lighting selections in line with the brand design language.
7) Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
8) Conduct on-site supervision to ensure alignment with design intent and adherence to safety and compliance norms.
9) Continuously improve design prototypes for scalability, modularity, and cost efficiency across multiple locations.
Requirements:
1) Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design (Master's preferred).
2) 7+ years of experience in retail architecture, store rollouts, or branded environments.
3) Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and rendering tools (V-Ray, Enscape, etc.).
4) Strong understanding of retail design principles, materials, and lighting design.
5) Proven track record of delivering multiple end-to-end retail or experiential projects.
6) Excellent project management and vendor coordination skills.
7) Creative eye for detail and strong alignment with modern, minimalist design sensibilities.
8) Ability to travel for site inspections and rollout supervision.
Preferred Experience:
1) Experience working with Architectural agencies, premium lifestyle, D2C, or fashion retail brands.
2) Exposure to modular retail formats, visual storytelling, and experiential design.
3) Understanding of sustainable materials and green retail practices.
