Our bags and accessories category is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Quality Control & Assurance Manager who will ensure that every product leaving our production line meets the highest standards of quality and durability.

Role Overview

The Production Quality Control & Assurance Manager will be responsible for establishing and monitoring end-to-end quality processes across the production of bags and accessories. This role demands strong technical knowledge of materials (leather, fabric, zippers, trims, etc.), finishing techniques, durability testing, and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will ensure our products are aesthetic, durable, functional, and defect-free before reaching customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement quality control systems and SOPs for bags and accessories production.

- Inspect raw materials, trims, and accessories to ensure they meet required specifications.

- Conduct in-line and end-line inspections during production to detect and resolve quality issues.

- Ensure AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) standards are defined and followed.

- Work closely with design and production teams to set quality benchmarks for new product launches.

- Perform functionality and durability testing for straps, zippers, stitching, and finishing.

- Investigate product complaints/returns and implement corrective/preventive actions.

- Train factory staff and production partners on quality standards and best practices.

- Maintain detailed inspection reports, audit trails, and compliance documentation.

- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and external manufacturers to uphold DailyObjects quality standards.

- Ensure compliance with statutory and international quality certifications where applicable.

Requirements:

1) Bachelors degree/Diploma in Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, Production, or related fields.

2) 10+ years of experience in Quality Control & Assurance in bags, accessories, luggage, or apparel industry.

3) Strong technical knowledge of fabric types, leather, synthetic materials, trims, and accessories.

4) Hands-on experience with quality inspection techniques, AQL, and lab testing.

5) Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

6) Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and vendors.

7) Ability to lead quality audits across multiple vendor/factory locations.
