Senior Associate/Associate

- Automation and Infrastructure Engineering

- Designing layouts and calculating area requirement for all of Delhivery's warehouses/hubs on the basis of given capacity requirements

- Planning the specifications and distribution of assets and material handling equipment inside and across the facilities

- Site visits to assess quality and capacity of facilities for taking a call on finalization of the same

- Tracking capacity of facilities and taking pro-active calls on re-locations/capacity enhancements basis future load projections

- Ownership of planning all the capital expenditure requirement by Delhivery on operations

- Business case preparation and presentation to the management for approvals

- Supporting the operations function in all infrastructure and equipment related permissions for ensuring planned capacity is met

- On-site/off-site project management for making all the new facilities Live with required infrastructure and automation equipment ready for operations

- Conducting Time-and-motion studies to benchmark and audit productivity nos. for continuous improvement in equipment/facility design

- Managing/supporting the management of a facility in core operations as per business requirements.

Preferred skills :

- Ability understand and visualize engineering drawings very well. Prior design experience preferred

- Being well versed with 5S, kaizen type quality principles

- Passion for automation and previous project work/exposure on automation will be preferred

- Hands on MS Excel skills with a knack for data analytics

- Should be willing to travel extensively, managing projects while being on field and maintaining communication with all stakeholders

- Should be ready to take up field assignments during any hour of the day

- Must have excellent presentation skills - both oral as well as written

- Should demonstrate good collaboration skills, balancing expectations of all stakeholders
