Delhivery - Senior Designer/Associate - Packaging Design (3-5 yrs)
JOB DESCRIPTION :
1) JOB TITLE - Packaging Design - Sr. Designer/ Sr. Associate
2) Location - Gurgaon
3) Experience Required - 3 to 5 years
4) Qualification :
- Post Graduate - M.Des in Industrial/ Product Design or equivalent
- B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
5) Requirement :
- Understanding of overall design process; research, ideation, prototyping, testing & implementation to lead design projects end to end
- Able to identify functional, ergonomics & other design challenges in existing product
- Able to define objective, need, constrain & approach for beginning a design project basis data/ fact collected during research
- Good understanding of material/ manufacturing processes to get design executed
- Strong analytical & reasoning skills to evaluate problem statements and come up with appropriate solution
- Willingness to pick-up new skills as required by the profile, self-starter
- Able to work & co-ordinate between different teams
- Good at sourcing material/ vendors as per implementation need
- Excellent communication skills (written & spoken)
- Willing to travel occasionally for project needs
6) Responsibility :
- Handling end-to-end design projects on packaging & logistic solutions
- Will define brief, do research & collect data, ideate & propose solution, build prototype to do testing and get feedback
- Providing cost of proposed solution and building business case to justify cost, if needed.
- Interacting with clients/ visiting their warehouse to analyze packaging standard and suggest solution
7) Software Skills - Solidworks, Adobe photoshop, Adobe illustrator, Autocad, Keyshot (or other rendering software)
