EXPECTED END RESULTS

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

1. Product Engineering -

Delivering NPD projects as per cost and delivery targets for VC - Lead and guide the creation of Engineering Designs from Industrial Designs.

- Guide & lead the Product Engineering teams through the Product development gates of Kohler. Drive the implementation of Product Engineering tools & techniques like DFMEA, DfA, DfE, etc.

- Guide and lead CFTs through Product Development gates of Kohler.

- Determine functional procedures and policies and leads / participate in projects of strategic nature.

- Establish, track, and report on Cost,Quality and Delivery matrices of Product Engineering and ensure optimal use of resources.

- Apply knowledge of Business and competition to product development goals and product ideas.

2. Product Engineering -

Delivering Industrialization/Migration projects as per cost and delivery targets for VC - Lead and guide the development of Migration SKUs at Plant or at Suppliers.

- Lead and participate in manufacturing reviews, tooling reviews, tool development, Product Validation and PPAPs.

- Lead and participate in Supplier audits and Quality Systems.

3. Advance Development / Product R&D - Leads the development of technical innovations for significant business impact .

- Create a pipeline of Product Innovations.

- Benchmarks competition Products for innovation edge.

4. Team Development - Hire,train and keep engaged a diverse team.

- Play an active role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of the team.

- Plan and drive Training & Development of Engineers in functional and managerial skills.

- Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance and recommend appropriate rewards and recognition.Track & guide Performance through Performance Management System
