Responsibility:
Sourcing of Direct Material, Indirect Material & Capital / Project Purchase
Laying down & ensuring compliance of Purchase related Policy, Systems, SOP's
Meeting various KPI's & deliverable's of Corporate Sourcing & Plant Purchase Teams
Driving various Projects/Initiatives related to Cost Reduction, Supply Chain Streamlining, Identifying Supply Chain Risk and Mitigation, Vendor Rationalization/Consolidation, Vendor Relationship Mgmt, Vendor Ratings & Improvements.
Commercial :
1. Good Negotiations and Analytical skills.
2. Understanding of Financial aspects/perspective to be able to discuss business with suppliers at macro level.
3. Awareness of applicability of various taxation while buying from within and outside India.
Qualification :
1. B.E Mech/Production. Additional Dip/Executive course in Matl Mgmt/Supply Chain will be preferred.
2. Experience: 15 Years in Purchasing & Supply Chain in a Machine Mfg / Project Industry.
