Our client is a large industrial house in Oil & Gas domain and they would like to fill-up following position asap for their petrochemical plant.

Position : Dy Manager/ Asstt Manager - Technical Audit/ Risk Assurance

Location : Bathinda

Education : BE/ B.Tech - Chemical Engg

Experience : 8-10 years

Compensation : Commensurate with education and experience

Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile :

1. Candidate will be responsible for regular audits as per audit plan to ensure proper procedures are in place and followed and the company's practices are compliant with the law/regulations. Identify process and business improvement opportunities in course of audit engagements. Position reports to GM - Risk Assurance

2. RESPONSIBILITIES:

To understand the organization's audit approach, methodology & tools.

To understand organization's operating procedures and systems of internal control, mainly in the area of refinery and petrochemical process, oil inventory and pipeline operations etc.

Timely completion of audit assignments and compilation of audit reports.

Identification of control gaps and opportunities for improvement in audit assignments

Establish good working relationships with other personnel.

Immediately report significant findings which could adversely affect company's assets and/or reputation.

Any other special assignment, which can be given from time to time.

3. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :

An engineering graduate in Chemical discipline from a premium university.

8-10 years of experience in refinery/petrochemical operation or technical services, or in a similar role as a part of technical audit department at Refinery or related manufacturing process company

Strong knowledge of refinery and petrochemical operations

Good in understanding various business processes

Internal Audit certification in technical area will be an added advantage

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong Techno-commercial acumen

Exposure to ERP will be an added advantage
