Deputy Manager/Manager/AM/Senior Engineer - Motor Designing - Automotive (6-14 yrs)

Educational Qualification (Knowledge and Skill) :
- Bachelors or Master Degree in electrical and electronics Engineering with at least 6-8 years of experience or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics with excellent communication skill, leadership capabilities having at least 10-12 years of experience.
Job Description :
Central :
- Responsible for designing of 3 phase, single phase and D.C Motors used in the electric actuators.
- Lead in conceptualizing the new design of motors with optimum performance and cost.
- Design changes /improvements in existing design of motors for performance and cost optimization.
- Work on energy efficient motors as per IS/International standards.
- Work closely with production/vendors in manufacture of motors to establish/improve process to attain expected performance.
- Explore possibility on alternate vendors for sourcing motor parts in establishing process with optimized cost.
- Hands on experience in carrying out endurance/type test of motors as per national/international standards.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing specification/technical documentation for the motors.
Peripheral :
- Should be flexible to handle the customer complaints at site at given point of time related to motors.
- Jointly work with Customer Service function in analyzing and troubleshooting the problem reported form the site.
- Working closely with the electronics team within R&D and ensure proper preventive measures/solutions in the long run.
- Interaction with end customers and maintain harmonious relation for the purpose of technical clarifications/inputs/ approval process of the motors.
Work Experience :
Sr. Engineer/Assistant Manager : 6-8 years.
Deputy Manager/Manager : 10+ years.
- Should have experience in the phases of design process of motor, from concept to prototype, integration to end product.
Technical :
- Experience in Motor Design
- Knowledge on optimizing the design of stator and rotor windings.
- Knowledge on optimizing use of copper in the windings to meet performance requirements with possible highest efficiencies.
- Demonstrated ability in solving problems as part of a team or individually is desired.
