Job Description :

Position : Deputy Manager

Reporting to : Section Head

Location : Bangalore

Role :

This Role is aimed at supporting the Head DBO in identifying suppliers, price negotiations, cost reduction, sourcing, ensure quality as per specifications and on time delivery to customer premises. Focused Value Engineering approach to improve the value of the product. Attending to problems related to product performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Ensuring on time ordering and delivery of DBO-E items like Alternator, LT/HT Panels, Battery & Battery charger, UPS, PLC, TCP/TGP Panels, AVR, LT/HT Cables and etc.

- Defining and managing with QCD focus, the preferred supplier list

- DBO-E items.

- Achieve cost reduction as per targets.

- Monitoring site closure as per budget for DBO-E items.

- Resolving customer complaints pertaining to DBO- electrical items along with CC committee / suppliers.

- Co-ordinating with various departments.

- Focus on achieving Zero Defect on all the deliverable.

- Value Engineering approach for betterment of the system and price.

- Initiative preventive actions with suppliers for delayed supplies.

Salary:INR 10,00,000 - 15,00,000 P.A.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification : BE/B.Tech- Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation

Experience : 8-10Years of experience as a Buyer in DBO (capital goods industry/ Power Plant Industry/Turbine Industry)

Education- UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication
