We are inviting experienced professionals to join our Factory Operations team as a Vision Engineer, a critical technical role supporting high-speed, high-volume Li-ion cell manufacturing.

About the Role

This position is responsible for the design, development, and integration of 2D/3D vision inspection systems for inline quality assurance. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven quality control, defect detection, and process capability improvement across advanced manufacturing lines.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop 2D/3D vision inspection systems for inline inspection in high-speed Li-ion cell manufacturing

- Select and integrate vision hardware and software into manufacturing equipment

- Develop and validate algorithms for defect detection, pattern recognition, dimensional measurement, and alignment

- Collaborate with equipment, process, quality, and MES teams for installation, commissioning, and validation

- Analyze large data sets to identify trends, failure patterns, and quality improvement opportunities

- Troubleshoot and resolve vision system hardware and software issues

- Participate in PFMEA, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

- Lead and support engineering, maintenance, and technician teams for sustained system performance

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, documentation, and SOP standards

What We- re Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

- 8- 10 years of experience in vision systems within high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environments

- Strong exposure to Li-ion cell manufacturing (preferred)

- Hands-on experience with vision platforms such as Keyence (IVX series), Cognex (Visioner), or similar

- Strong programming skills in C, C++, C#, or related languages

- Experience with process capability studies, GRR, and data analytics

- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

- Greenfield and Brownfield project experience is a plus
