Design Engineer (2-7 yrs)
Key Responsibilities
- Creating 2D and 3D models, drawings, and assemblies using CAD software (Creo, Autocad)
- Interact with customers - leading professors and scientists worldwide- to understand their experimental requirements.
- Conduct basic engineering calculations, simulations, and tolerance analyses.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into updated designs.
- Prepare engineering documentation- including specifications, bills of materials (BOMs)
- Collect, organize, and analyze data using Excel & Word to support design decisions and project reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, assembly, electronics) to ensure product feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Adhere to industry standards, internal design guidelines, and safety requirements.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Aerospace, or related Engineering field.
- Familiarity with CAD tools(Creo, Ansys, Solidworks, Autocad) and basic engineering principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute proactively.
