Design Engineer - 2D Modeling (7-9 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
Product Design :
- Develop detailed mechanical designs for new products or improvements to existing products, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and quality standards.
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to translate conceptual ideas into viable product designs.
Manufacturing Support :
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to provide technical support and troubleshoot design-related issues during production.
- Conduct design reviews and make necessary revisions to optimize manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
Material Selection :
- Choose appropriate materials and components for design projects, considering factors like strength, cost, and availability.
Documentation :
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and design change records.
Testing and Validation :
- Coordinate and conduct tests and experiments to validate designs and ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
- Analyze test data and make design modifications as necessary.
Cost Control :
- Work within budget constraints and seek cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.
Regulatory Compliance :
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
