Design Engineer (3-5 yrs)
Job Description :
1. Study contract document, attend Kick off meeting, Give inputs for making General Arrangement of material conveying / feeding equipment.
2. Perform basic power calculations. Prepare specifications for bought out items.
3. Schedule engineering activities and plan resources for drawings.
4. Prepare and release specifications for mechanical bought out components.
5. Prepare and release the specifications in EPICOR
6. Communicate with customer, consultant for resolving issues related to DBOs.
7. To scrutinize vendor drawings and approve as per requirement
8. To handle export jobs and proposals
9. Monitor manufacturing drawings for the equipment
10. Inter department communications required for smooth completion of engineering activities
11. Support to proposal by providing HP Calculations and any other support required.
