Design Engineer - BIW Fixture - Manufacturing Firm (1-4 yrs)
Qualification : BE/Diploma in mechanical
Domain : Automotive (BIW fixture Design)

Roles and Responsibilities :
- Experience of BIW welding fixture design for Automotive industry is mandatory.
- Sound understanding on Layout study, Build sequence, Process & Gun study
- Experience of JIg & welding fixture design.
- Should have good knowledge in welding process
- Experience in 3D design for jigs & Fixture including Design Optimization, Manufacturability, Cost reduction & elimination of redundant operations.
- Experience in Fixture Concept design, 3D Finish and Creating of manufacturing drawings using CATIA/FIDES/ NX design software.
- Experience on VW, BMW, JLR, and VOLVO projects with Line builders.
- High Proficiency 3D modeling of BIW Jigs & Fix. Manufacturing Drawing creation and BOM Creation.
- Experience of Clamp Validation/Pay load calculation & pneumatic circuit design will be an added advantage.
- Familiar with US & European Standards is preferred.
