Design Engineer - BIW Fixtures (0-5 yrs)

Experience required : 0 -5 years
Location : Bengaluru
Mandatory Skills : BIW fixture Design, UGNX, Catia v5, Individual contribution to Concept Design, Manufacturing Engineering, FIDES, Solidworks
- Understand BIW process information & overall tool functionality (all types of tools)
1. Perform Input check (Concept/3D Finish review)
2. Concept/3D Finish/2D of units and tools (including complex dump & Slide units)
3. Aware of manufacturing process
4. Standard parts & Payload validation
- Candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production.
- You will draw new designs and update our current designs.
- During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities.
- Responsibilities :
- BIW Welding Fixture Design 3D Concept Knowledge, 3D Finish Knowledge, 2D Detailing Knowledge European OEM Standards, US OEM Standards
Software : CATIA V5, UG NX Draw, update, and maintain designs
- Manage multiple complex projects at the same time
- Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer
Responsibilities :
- Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time
Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree CAD experience
- Proficient in CATIA V5, UGNX
